Some of the core expectations of the workplace haven’t changed much over the years, and the workplace as we know it was not designed by or for women. Women have been adapting and making ourselves fit the workplace, often modelling our behaviour on those who went before us - men. It’s time for women to stop twisting ourselves in knots to fit the “traditional” workplace, and reinvent the workplace to be a better fit for women. The more this idea is discussed the more we find that workplaces, designed to work for women, tend to work better for everyone!
